Annotation Preliminary title. The prophet Micah on the left talking with Jothan and Ahaz, kings of Judah to the right, vaulted gothic surround, tiled floor, distant landscape visible through the doors, painted in soft colours and burnished gold, the initial in blue with leafy decoration in white, burnished gold cusped surround, penwork tendrils with gold bezants. Ten lines in verso (Micah 1:16-2:2) with large initial (3-line) in blue with red penwork. The miniature was presented to the University Library on February 16th., 1984 by the "Vrienden van de Universiteitsbibliotheek Utrecht" on occasion of the 4th centenary of the library.
