Localisation based on a reference on fol. 84r.: "Sequuntur hic diffiniciones annales capituli generalis non omnes sed alique secundum quod ad noticiam nostram poterant devenire vel conventui nostro in ysselsteyn ab allis sunt intimate vel denunciate". The manuscript has the ex-libris of the monastery of St. Salvator in Antwerp on fol. 2r. Fol. 1v contains a reference to Jacobus de Borsalia, prior of the same monastery, and is dated 1480. In the 19th century it was owned by the well-known poet, designer and socialist William Morris (1834-1896). After his death the manuscript was obtained by Richard Bennett, who had it sold at Sotheby's, London, in 1898. It was purchased by a certain "Wilton".
