| Annotation | All leaves engraved. British Museum catalogue attributes the engravings to the elder C. van de Passe. Emblem mottoes and captions in Italian on leaves 39 and 71; in Greek on leaf 64. Quarto; unsigned. T.p., port. of Rollenhagen (p. [3]), and the 100 emblematic ill. were engraved by Crispijn de Passe the Elder; see Landwehr.
