Annotation Title from title page (leaf a1 recto). Attribution to Gerardus de Vliederhoven is disputed. Also attributed to Denis the Cartusian. In some copies "pulcherrimis" in title is misspelled as: "pulrherrimis". Place and date of publication from colophon (leaf m5 recto), which reads: Finiu[n]t exe[m]pla de gaudiis regui celo[rum] Et alio[rum] trium nouissimo[rum]. Imp[re]ssa Dana[n]trie in platea episcopi. Anno d[omi]ni M.cccc.lxxxix. "Regui" and "Dana[n]trie" in colophon should be read as resp.: "regni" and "Daua[n]trie" Dated between 23 May and 10 Nov. 1489. Printer's name from ISTC. On title page woodcut illustration showing Lebuinus, patron saint of the city of Deventer. In the lower right corner, the coat of arms of Deventer (eagle).
