PSALM L (51), f. 29r.
This psalm, according to its title, was written at the time when Nathan came to David and upbraided him for slaying Uriah and taking Bathsheba. In the upper left of the picture the interview of Nathan with David is shown. David, youthful and crowned, stands before an architectural background. Nathan approaches from the right, and Bathsheba is standing in a doorway to the left. Uriah is lying dead before them. Nathan points to the right half of the picture where the story of the ewe-lamb is illustrated (II Samuel, xii). The rich man is standing beside his sheep and cattle and is directing a servant to take away the ewe-lamb from the poor man who is seated before a building to the right.
