AnnotationPreliminary title. At the beginning of the manuscript one leaf is missing and at the end 3 leaves are missing. It is not entirely clear whether text was lost at the beginning. (According to Faulkes (p. 10), the first page of the exemplar may have been unreadable.) The text ends defectively at vs. 61 of the H©Łttalal. In front of the first leaf, there was another gathering of which only the first leaf remains, which functions as a fly leaf. A second fly leaf has been added. Copied by a hand identical with the one that wrote AM Dipl. Isl. LX 9 (from 1603). Te citeren als: Universiteitsbibliotheek Utrecht Hs. 1374. Christian Rau; Gift; 1643. According to Faulker, written and owned by P©Łll J©đnsson of Thernuv©Ưk in the Western fiords of Iceland in or about 1595. The manuscript has several propriety marks, among which that of Danish professor Ole Worm (1588-1654), who owned it from1635 to 1637. According to a letter of donation in the manuscript, it was donated to the Universiteitsbibliotheek Utrecht in 1643 by Christianus Ravius Berlinas (1613-1677). P.A.
